Beat the Winter Blues – February  2023

Looking forward to the return of Beat the Winter Blues in February 2023!

Bearden High School Key Club UT Football Parking — September-November

The need for parking this year for home UT football games is a bit uncertain due to the limited number of fans that will be able to attend.  Our wonderfully supportive Key Club is willing to give the first home game a try to see if fans will need our parking area.  We’ll make a decision after that to determine if it is a viable fundraiser for the House this year as it has been in the past.  We will drop the price to $20 per vehicle and see what happens – Our fingers are crossed!

Freaky Friday Drive-Thru Boo

offers safe Halloween fun for the community

Freaky Friday is a free event held the last Friday in October where participants are asked to bring items to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House. For a list of suggested donations, visit the Facebook event page. Along with items, cash donations are always gratefully accepted – no gift is too small to make a difference. The Town of Farragut has partnered with the Knoxville Ronald McDonald House each year of the event since 2000 in order to collect essential items that the House needs to continue day-to-day operations.

The Farragut’s Parks and Rec staff has diligently worked to ensure this is a safe and fun event for the community to enjoy. For more information about Freaky Friday, contact Brittany Spencer at bspencer@townoffarragut.org or

Join us the first Friday in February from 5:30pm – 7:30pm for a magical evening of wine, cheese, music, and beautiful blooming flowers that will surely melt away any sign of the winter blues.
